At Ferrovalle, with the arrival and departure of more than 20,000 trains and more than 500,000 containers, we move an average of 60 million gross tons, and we also generate thousands of direct and indirect jobs.

At Ferrovalle we have the most important international specialized Intermodal Terminal in the Valley of Mexico and in the country due to its facilities, services, scope and volume.

Infrastructure

Located in a strategic area, which allows us to identify ourselves as the logistics node of Mexico.

Ferrovalle is made up of two large operating divisions, the railroad that operates a network of more than 500 kilometers of track, with a fleet of 32 locomotives that move more than 900,000 cars a year with a unique gravity classification process in Latin America and the Ferrovalle Intermodal division moving more than 500,000 containers a year, with in-bond facility.

We are the most important distribution center and rail freight operator in the country, serving as the last mile train fulfilling the important work of a logistics node in the heart of the country that connects all the rail freight in the north and south of Mexico.

We operate 356 days a year, we have storage warehouses, offices, surveillance and security 24/7.

Our History

In 1956, the Terminal del Valle de México was inaugurated by the President of Mexico Adolfo Ruiz Cortines, which was operated by Ferrocarriles Nacionales de México for 42 years, concentrating passenger, reception and cargo classification services. Ferrocarril y Terminal del Valle de México, S.A de C.V (Ferrovalle) is incorporated under a concession title as Terminal Ferroviaria del Valle de México, S.A de C.V. on November 26, 1996, beginning operations on May 1, 1998.
